was created to act as a catalyst for the prevention of disablement. IMPACT was officially launched as
an International Initiative against Avoidable Disablement. |

Impact India has created award-winning
replicable projects, which have established it as an action-oriented
catalyst not only in India but throughout the world. Several
thousand articles have appeared in the international press and seven
international documentaries have been produced on the Lifeline
Express.
Impact's internationally acclaimed LIFELINE
EXPRESS, the world's first hospital on a train, has become a model for transfer of Indian
appropriate technology to setting up similar projects in China,
Zimbabwe and a hospital river boat - "Jibon Tori", in Bangladesh. |
