Impact India officially released to the sponsor Tata Social Welfare Trust the Report on Impact's Malaria Project, researched and prepared by the St. Xavier's College. The study critically evaluates Impact's role in Malaria Control from 1999 to 2002, in a major ward of Mumbai in collaboration with the Bombay Municipal Corporation. Over a period of over four years Impact served a population of over 400,000 people, covering 40,000 homes and a large migratory population. The appraisal was conducted by the students of St. Xavier's College under the guidance of Dr. Sam Taraporevala and Ms. Vinita Bhatia, Faculty of the Sociology Department. |
