Dr. Maike Kautz’s at Talasari

Dr. Kautz, a German Ophthalmologist, a Medical Volunteer to Impact in the past on the Lifeline Express -- had assisted in the conduct of ophthalmic surgeries performed on the LLE. Dr. Kautz paid a quick visit to Talasari, Impact’s Community Health Initiative, Group II while in India in March, 2007.

Dr. Kautz took pleasure in handing over spectacles to the children identified and treated for refractive errors. She also visited Impact’s Lifeline Express Mobile Clinic in action outside the Udhwa, Zilla Parishad (Government) School. She was happy to see children being tested for refractive errors on the Diagnostic Bus and stated that the equipment in the LLE Mobile Clinic matched international standards. She was pleased to meet patients operated for eye surgeries, free of cost, at the Hasanali Tobaccowala Eye Hospital in Talwada, Vikramgadh.
