Rotary International donates Portable Ophthalmoscopes to Impact

Peter Offer, the President Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI) donated Portable Ophthalmoscopes and Optyse Units to Impact’s CEO, Zelma Lazarus in London on April 14, 2007. The gift will be utilized by the Lifeline Express Mobile Clinic in the rural areas Impact’s Community Health Initiative in Thane District, Maharashtra State.

Mr. Ray Turner, the President of Stevenage Grange Rotary Club said, Impact was Rotary International’s preferred charity for the year. He was impressed by the stringent monitoring, expenditure controls and regular evaluations, including personal visits to ensure effective utilization of funds and equipment by Impact.
